BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Menander I Soter. Circa 155-130 BC. AR Drachm (17.5mm, 2.47 g, 12h). Diademed heroic bust left, seen from behind, wearing aegis and brandishing spear / Athena Alkedimos standing right, holding shield and thunderbolt; monogram to right. Bopearachchi 7A; SNG ANS 723-32; HGC 12, 188 corr. (Athena to right). Iridescent toning, traces of deposits, a couple of laminations. VF. Lot includes a David Sear certificate of authenticity.
